Abstract

The 24th and 19th International Congress on Reproduction and Stem Cell Biology in the Islamic Republic of Iran brought together experts and researchers worldwide to explore the latest advancements in these fields. Discussions encompassed topics such as reproductive health, infertility treatments, stem cell research, and regenerative medicine. This report provides a summary of the congress's key findings and discussions, emphasizing the pioneering research and technologies influencing the future of reproduction and stem cell biology. With over 1100 participants from international and national backgrounds, the presence of keynote speakers like Professor Nicolas Rivron, Mohammad Ebrahim Parsanezhad, Ashraf Moini, Abbas Aflatoonian, Hadi Shafiee, Anna Brini, Omid Camron Farokhzad and Jeffrey Schweitzer was a notable aspect of this congress. While speakers from various parts of the world and Iran delved into cutting-edge science and successful disease treatments in their presentations, Iranian speakers predominantly hailed from cities such as Tabriz, Isfahan, Shiraz, Babol and more, with a majority from Tehran. It is recommended that future congresses consider inviting speakers from diverse regions across Iran for a more comprehensive representation.
